Sensible Solutions Action Activated Tag (AAT) concept allows wetness detection in places where it earlier were desired but not cost effective. This is possible due to manufacturing by printing large portions of both sensors and radio transmitter. The final product is a stickerlike wetness sensor that can be placed where desired. The sensors requires no connected cables, no maintainance and have a lifetime of about 10 years. All this to a cost of less than €1!

When a sensor detects the action it is designed to detect it transmitts a radio signal to an alarm unit placed within the building, which in turn alarms with sound/light/SMS/email or whatever method that is desired. The receiver is universal for all surrounding tags so that the same unit can be used to detect different transmitting sensors.
